Hitting the Books

The winter months can be TORTUROUS for the green thumbed individual. (We are firm believers that there is such a thing as garden withdrawals.) To try and while away the blustery months until spring is here, though, why not brush up on your gardening knowledge? There are tons of books and classes available to educate even the most seasoned gardeners about the latest tips and strategies in gardening. Plus, with new products continuously being developed, it’s never a bad idea to use all your resources in learning about what’s best for your plants.
Be sure to check out our Facebook posts and Tweets to hear about some of the educational resources we’ve discovered. Plus, you can always come see us in store to talk to our gardening professionals about your springtime brainstorms. Whatever questions or ideas you have, New Earth can give you the hard-earned knowledge to make it a reality.
We know it’s hard to watch the calendar flip through the freezing winter months while you’re just sitting at your frosty window twiddling your green thumbs and dreaming of your garden plot for the spring. Try checking out a good old-fashioned how-to book or attending a couple gardening classes; at the very least it may make the winter months crawl by a little faster.
