FoxFarm Ocean Forest

I want the very best potting soil, but have no idea where to start. What do you suggest?
We have found that our best—and most popular-- potting soil is
Ocean Forest, from FoxFarm. This is the ultimate potting soil... everything your plants need, in one bag. This light, airy soil is made from a blend of earthworm castings, bat guano, composted forest humus and Pacific Northwest fish and crab meal.
This blend is ready to use right out of the bag, no preparation or additional amending necessary. If using liquid fertilizer, we would recommend using
FoxFarm Big Bloom Liquid Plant Food for strong branching and healthy growth.
Ocean Forest comes in 12 quart and 1.5 cubic feet sizes. The 15 cu ft bag contains 9.5 gallons of mix.

This company (FoxFarm) persistently refuses to state even approximate quantities of the key ingredients in their potting soil products. That means that they could be - and probably are - throwing in a mere thimbleful of said ingredients. In my experience, FoxFarm products are nothing but a screw job. The grow shops know this, but they all love a high margin product, the consumer be damned. Caveat Emptor!
